Mako to Host Small Games of Chance Seminar

October 18, 2018

HARRISBURG – In an effort to provide the most up-to-date information to holders of small games of chance licenses, Rep. Zach Mako (R-Lehigh/Northampton) will host a Small Games of Chance and Liquor Law Regulations Seminar.

The event will be held on Thursday, Oct. 25, from 6-9 p.m., at the Diamond Fire Company, 110 Main St., Walnutport. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m.

“Rules surrounding small games of chance and the liquor law can be confusing even for those versed in the law,” Mako said. “I’m hopeful this seminar will clear up any misunderstandings and ensure organizations in the 183rd Legislative District have complete and correct information.”

Liquor Code Enforcement Officer Derrick DeVaney of the Bureau of Liquor Code Enforcement’s Allentown District Office will lead the presentation. Time will be allotted for a question-and-answer session.

To reserve a seat, please visit Mako’s website at Rep.Mako.com or call one of his district offices at 610-502-2701 or 610-760-9805.

The 183rd District includes South Whitehall (part), Washington and Whitehall (part) townships and Slatington Borough in Lehigh County. It also consists of Allen, Lehigh and Moore (part) townships, and North Catasauqua, Northampton and Walnutport boroughs in Northampton County.
